After breakfast the tour starts towards Kafuta basic school.Here we get a tour around the school yard, and information about how the school system works in The Gambia.

We then drive to Kanlagi (Bremen Bridge) and here we get to enjoy the scenery that the mangrove swamp offers from the bridge. Here we also have the opportunity to buy peanut cakes and quench our thirst; before continuing our journey to Tendaba camp.

Upon arrival at the camp, we check in just before lunch and those who want to use the pool can do so before lunch at 13.00hrs.
At 15:30 in the afternoon, we take a walk in the village Tendaba, and at 16.00hrs, we start the safari around the wilderness. During the Jeep Safari, we will drive through small African villages and, of course, a stop to visit the people who live in one of these villages .

We then continue to Kiang West National Park, and here in the park, we can expect to see wild bush pigs, antelopes, Baboons, and different types of monkeys, and various bird species here in the Gambia.After the safari, at 20:00hrs, a delicious dinner buffet is served followed by an African entertainment around the fire by the River.

On the morning of day 2, we get up early for a good morning walk, and by 08.00hrs, we are back in the camp for breakfast.After breakfast, we begin the river trip in a pirogue boat in the creeks. From where, we can expect to see the Nile crocodiles, and many different types of sea birds.

After two hours in the creeks, we are back to the camp to cool off the heat in the pool while we wait for lunch.After lunch is served, we begin the journey back home around 14.00hrs.This two-day tour is full board except drinks in the camp.

The tour departs at. 8:30. and back Home day after at around 17:00hrs.


Included in the price is:

breakfast, two lunches, one dinner buffet, soft drinks during the car journey, accommodation, boat trip, jeep safari, transportation and an English speaking guide.
it is advisable to bring along  on this trip  a: Towel, suntan, clothes to change in, extra money and sandals.
